E’ questo un libro da leggere tutto d’un fiato, per poi tornare a rileggerlo ogni volta che sentiamo il richiamo all’impegno per le tante cose da cambiare in questi tempi troppo tristi per chi aspira ad un mondo più giusto ed a misura d’uomo.
Questa lettura servirà a coloro che hanno vissuto le grandi lotte del dopoguerra per dare dignità al lavoro ma che la convulsa realtà attuale troppo spesso porta ad affievolire la memoria storica, e servirà soprattutto alle nuove generazioni alle quali, salvo rare eccezioni, how did it come to these dark times no one has ever explained it to him.
