Behind the anniversary of Israel? Appeal for

Today I will explain my personal, albeit validated by history and common sense point of view about the Israeli issue . Also because we are in 2008, is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the "foundation" of the State of Israel and I can not hold on to read and hear in newspapers, internet and TV, memorial tributes to this group . Before you begin you should clarify the meaning of some terms, especially to prevent me from being confused with an anti-Semite.
For I but not anti-Semitic anti-Israeli, which is something else. The term "Semitic", in fact, it indicates the Jewish population but not from a religious perspective, but from the standpoint of "ethnic", since the term "jew" is the common denominator of religious and "Israel" means a thousand-year fixed of some of the people who now illegally occupies part of Palestine, the famous setting of "climb" the mountain, to make what is called in Hebrew " aliyha " , literally "lift". Being anti-Israeli, therefore, does not mean being against the Jews, but simply denotes a willingness to allow agli arabi di Palestina (termine dal significato diverso da "palestinese") di vivere liberamente nella propria terra.

gullible until such time as we believe and profess merely in theory. Full idiots when they want to implement it and to do so, use brute force.

what I mean? I am referring to two historical episodes that show the full hypocrisy hovering around the subject "Israel", at least for the ruling class (I can not tell how he is the population of the state of Israel). First we talk about concentration camps : it is undoubtedly true that the Nazis persecuted them but

1) no one knows why, ever remembers that in those camps were also intended for intellectuals lined up against the regime, homosexuals, gypsies and Jehovah's Witnesses. Always remember and (almost) only the Jews.
2) no one ever remembers that the Israelis themselves in the '60s and '70s, that is, during the second and third respectively in the Arab-Israeli war, instituted (!!!) concentration camps in which Palestinians were closed, and often if only the Arabs of Palestine who had made the mistake of being on their way.

What then are these huge hypocrites? They cry every day (right) the genocide that decimated them, but with the willingness of other nations who are watching, not even shed a tear for the Palestinians who have killed for years (and which today certainly do not live well, since areas like the Gaza Strip under military occupation for nearly 60 years - a period of time, if it was not mammasantissima in the analysis, would take the UN as the frog Galvani - ). For
gold hearts Israelis, however, the end justifies the means. Always. As in the case of Israel's reaction to the Intifada. Intifada means "uprising" and, in fact, more than a mode of warfare is a form of guerrilla warfare waged by the Palestinians and was the second generation (ie born and raised, unlike their parents, under military occupation) who opposed Israeli armed forces as they could: with stone-throwing and burning car tires along the passage of the armed forces, in order to hinder them. Clearly it was "offended" that the army could deal with most of the world fully, even to the point that they care. But no.
Like the United States in Vietnam, Israel remained puzzled and unprepared for this kind of guerrilla , which is outside the typical patterns of military action. And so, in disregard of the international community, the soldiers began to break legs and arms to those who were also suspected to participate in the intifada. Literally. least that they could not "harm". Why
been one of the most pampered in the world do this? Why the Israelis intend to pursue the project back to the biblical "promised land", ie Palestine. It calls itself a secular movement (perhaps they have taken lessons from Joseph Ratzinger, who accepts secularism if it moves "in Christianity). Not by chance in the 90s were printed by the Israeli national mint of the new notes, including one from 10 agorot , depicting the state of Israel as including all of Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, half of Syria, two thirds of Iraq, Saudi Arabia and the middle third of the Sinai , as pointed out Arafat at the UN Security Council during the meeting of May 1990.
It 's a case that the illustration tracings completely the boundaries set in the Bible and even military action to move almost in that direction?
E 'a secular movement that acts in the Bible in mind prescriptive sense?
E 'proposition that a state is born claiming historical continuity from one text to be unreliable and contradictory as the Bible? And if the answer is yes, because the Greeks did not Italy claiming the attack as a "title deed" that which is described in the Aeneid?
you, which of course are less partisan than me, what do you think?

Dedicated to Philip, to Edward and Professor Aghia Marcella Emiliani.

Make 5000 Gold Tailoring

Giulia Innocenzi.

Vogliamo pari opportunità per tutti. Nient'altro.

Jamaica, Gay, Cruising

A chrono-analytic vision of the "Gelmini reforms".

It 's time that I pronounce on what is mistakenly called " Gelmini reform." I was hoping that some of the sniper PDL avoided a massacre of the genre, at least in the Senate, but obviously it did not happen. Let's see in detail what imply approval of Law 133 (in education) without losing sight of the context that, in this case, it offers incredible surprises.
First incoming students will have one teacher, euphemistically called "master prevalent, "returning to the law until 1990, when the teacher came into force formula" multiple. "This is a first point of contention of the government, since the system of" three "is to be dismantled without apparent reason. It has not been published, and presumably does not exist, no study which motivates the change of course saying the hypothetical negative results of the previous method. Representatives of the majority have stated that changes to the teaching reflects their vision of 'education', as stated by Maurizio Lupi Ballarò last night. Mah My idea is that it is simply the need to budget in a country in perpetual growth or virtually 0.
Second, the education budget is depleted to around 8 billion euro . As regards the universities, the results of this cut is not necessarily negative because it all depends on intellectual honesty (and substantial) of University Rectors: anywhere in Italy there are undergraduate and master simply ridiculous that certainly does not come alone. These courses clown often created to give a job to teachers who, under normal conditions, they could never rise to the level of president of a degree course. Not to mention that, having the character of public universities, these courses are funded by pant (ie us).
Ciò does not mean, however, that these cuts would not be passed on researchers, which in Italy have an average of 50 years and are paid from hunger and always hanging on the edge of the research, which need not be confirmed.
Third highly controversial is the reduction of hours, reduced to being "24 per week, ie 4 per day for 6 days. This makes it very difficult time downsizing the establishment of the so-called "full time", the implementation seems left to the availability of individual institutions. In the absence of activities organized by schools, pupils will go home and probably will force parents to have to hire baby sitters and allied with an additional economic burden for the household. At the same comparison Moratti reform of 2003 which provided the so-called "teacher time" was a stroke of genius .
Another issue that concerns the university is the "power to transform universities into foundations." The text is not coercive in these terms, it provides this as a possibility and not as an obligation. But if the rectors continue the malpractice on fungus-degree programs, with cuts to education, would be practically forced to set up as foundations. What does it mean, however, become the foundations?
E nessuno parla di include sex education among compulsory courses (as in Spain or France since 1990 since 1973).

PS: Law 133 expresses a picture of a country that does not spend on education and that " to reduce paper use , from 1 January 2009, reduce the public AUTHORITIES 50 per cent compared to the year 2007 the expenditure for the press. "
clear? We can no longer pay for the paper in the office! What the hell do we complain to the schools?

Who does not deserve the laws. We demand the legality

image from wehaitians.com

This morning I happened to accidentally take in the event last April's family, what about my almost- stop at a polling station ( click and read post with an account of the event ).
Specifically, I took the speech as widely and articulate the law and respect for the law: judgments of the highest summits of the Italian judiciary (Constitutional Court, Court of Cassation, Courts of Appeals) affirmed the unconstitutionality and, in general, ' inadequacy and inconsistency of legislation Source fascist and tacitly repealed which provides for the Catholic-Christian symbols in any public place.
My mother told me that when it happened the "nasty business" (ie, when the polling station asked him to enforce the law), wept because "she was afraid of retaliation" that my brothers and sisters have suffered because of my action, accomplished "people because you were causing went there with the sheets to challenge . The leaves of which he spoke were the judgments on the case law on religious symbols in public places and the Rules of the seat, which I had to prove the validity of my request to remove the crucifix from school adibita a seggio elettorale.
Rispettare le leggi, badate bene, is not an opinion. It 's a coercive requirement applies anywhere, anyhow, the very definition of rule of law is expressed in these terms.
After this "clarification" with my mother (who knows the event in question only by hearsay and not direct) my sister, everything that may be less legalistic and secular, began to taunt me by saying that these "things" the do in the south (where I have residency) and Forli (where is my home and I studied at university for 3 years), because we do not live in the south virtually and then I can afford these "crazy" . Needless to explain that
Forlì I never had the opportunity to request that was applied the law in this area (secularism in public places) because I've never had the chance: the exception in a bank (where, however, the Court has never ruled) I never got to find altars hairpieces , Madonnas, crucifixes 1:1 scale and other items from bazaars as it happens daily in my hometown.
E 'at this point that, even at the mercy of other events on the legality and effectiveness of the law, I have developed a sad and forlorn conclusion: Many citizens do nothing to assert the rule of law, and often move in completely opposite direction, but when suits him crying at the foot of Athena?
Dedicated to

Marco Montagnana.

Shea Butter Sore Nose

PD revisionist.

a brief account of its management of the UDC.

E 'yesterday's news that was preparing an attack aimed at Roberto Saviano to held before Christmas. It is not the first act against the celebrated author of Gomorrah, but it seems that this time the preparations were also given a lot to a point that had already been acquired explosives and the detonator.
What can this story teach us? depends on how you want to read if you want to rely on instinct or Apollonian than Dionysian In the first case we see a racket frightened, cornered, ready to emerge from the darkness just to remove an item uncomfortable (as did Cosa Nostra with Falcone and Borsellino ) in the second case we see the risk of civil commitment and artists to denounce the Italian underworld, which thrives from the birth of the republic and, ultimately, it is recognized in the major state offices.
In both cases, however, you can not help but note the geometric power Mafia organization. a power and a branch that gives rise to social and territorial, especially if you read, exactly, the book Gomorrah, and if it acquires the proper entity.
What should we do to give a blow to the mafia in general (Cosa Nostra, Camorra, 'Ndrangheta, Sacra Corona Unita)?
The police and the investigation make it possible (in the general indifference, as if it were a notice of suit) we read and hear every day of "big arrests", "raids" and "kidnapping" to the detriment of gangs in every part of Italy. However, if those who vote in parliament every two years a pardon, a mini-reform of criminal procedure attenuation of more serious crimes (and then creating a "prison" for those who go to women) and put the muzzle to the magistrates of the Jacobins when passing them off as simply doing their job in a country that has 5 regions in the hands of the mafia, What can we do as citizens?

We must be demanding.

We ask questions directly to meetings and gatherings and indirectly by assessing in depth the party to be given their vote, a choice of rules . We must demand that they adapt certain rules apply to the police, for example, members of parliament: a citizen who has a conviction can not make the policeman? Well, it can not do even Senator or deputy. But what we read and hear?
It 's a couple of days ago when the interview with Republic Enrico Letta, Member of National Committee Members and as well as "shadow minister welfare" of the Democratic Party, said that "for the PD relationship with the UDC becomes more and more 'strategic' because "if you do not want to remain in eternal opposition must look at the center." To better understand what you said, however, should talk a little bit of communication techniques and implicit meaning of such statements.
If you say something about a small newspaper and not widespread, such as "The Reform", it means that the thing that you a little ashamed, or at least that it should not know too much. Not surprisingly, during the election campaign, Veltroni spoke of the need to "reduce the ability of judges" just one of the columns of these newspapers that Marco Travaglio calls "semi-clandestine."
But if you said something like this from a newspaper circulated as authoritative and relatively Republic, it means that you really want to know, and maybe you also believe in the right. E 'for months that the Democratic Party courting the UDC, at this point, however, one wonders if, for example in the European elections, this will stop a former PCI or propose an alliance with the' Union of the prison where we talk about Wiki . As an alliance elettorale con i centristi è tanto richiesta, auspicata e desiderata, vediamo più a fondo chi popola e cosa è davvero l'UDC.

5. Vincenzo Lo Giudice : ex deputato regionale, arrestato per mafia a marzo 2004 nell'ambito dell'inchiesta "Alta Mafia" perchè would have given plots of land confiscated from the mafia to a cooperative owned by the same "family". The other allegations of corruption are those contestategli, rod rigging and money laundering. On 29 February 2008 was sentenced to 16 years and 8 months imprisonment.
6. Totò Cuffaro : two surveys accused charged for complicity with the Mafia, disclosure of information covered by the confidentiality of investigations and contribute to illegal election funding of 20 million lire. Already convicted in first instance in five years' imprisonment and disqualification from public offices, is now Senator UDC.
7. Calogero Mannino : sentenced on appeal to five years for Mafia association. Inprimo rank was acquitted and the sentence went like this: "there is evidence that stipulated Calogero Mannino, back in 1980-81, an electoral agreement with a member of the mafia family of Cosa Nostra Agrigento. It was not state-of-the judges a request for a vote of the political mafia leaders. " In 2001 he met with the old formula of 'insufficient evidence', then sentenced on appeal to five years and 4 months in 2005, the Court of Cassation overturned the decision by referring everything to the Court of Appeals. UDC is currently Senator.
8. Ferdinando Adornato: former PCI, the former PDS, former AD, ex-FI, is currently a member of the UDC. A man for all seasons.
9. Lorenzo Cesa and currently deputy secretary of the UDC, was involved in tangentopoli because he took bribes, and in 2001 he was sentenced at first instance in 3 years and 3 months for aggravated corruption on contracts for 750 billion lire. He still is dealing with that process but will never do a day in jail since, thanks to some changes in Justice of the XIV legislature, the requirement is already coming up. And 'under investigation since 2006 for fraud against the European Union (the claims are 5 billion lire) and criminal conspiracy.
10. Giuseppe Drago: currently deputy UDC in 2003 was convicted of the crime of embezzlement by a court in Palermo 3 years and 3 months imprisonment for embezzling funds of the Region. It 'also was sentenced by the Court of Accounts to repay the amount withdrawn.
11. Xavier Romano currently UDC member, was invited along with Clemente Mastella and Totò Cuffaro marriage of iFrancesco Campanella (the one that forged identity card to Bernardo Provenzano to work in France at the expense of each other). Later he denied everything, but I can not verify this (at least I was not invited!).
12. Rocco Buttiglione: is himself. This is enough.

If all this were not clear in the 2004 diary (which is not really a journal of the Third International Socialista) lo definì il partito con il maggior numero di inquisiti, imputati e condannati.

Perspiration Smells Like Vinegar

Sbattezziamoci.

“Suoi sudditi, perché battezzati”. Con queste parole, il 25 ottobre 1958, la Corte d’appello di Firenze assolveva il vescovo di Prato , che aveva denigrato pubblicamente due giovani, da poco sposati civilmente.
Il 25 ottobre 2008, a cinquant’anni di distanza, l’UAAR organizza a Day of sbattezzo. 'Sbattezzo' means cancellation of the civil effects of baptism, which is the basic right established by a decision of the Authority for the privacy of no longer being considered by the state as "subjects" of the Church, "obedient" and "subservient" to the hierarchies Church.
The reasons to leave the Catholic Church may be a number consistent with their principles, why protest discrimination as gays, women or researchers claim their own identity as an atheist or agnostic. Or simply intellectual honesty to say "there are more than yours." The
UAAR not organize Controra vindictive, but asked those who are no longer Catholics to exercise this right: we know that already thousands of people have done, but we believe that if those who have not formally left the Catholic Church will do so on one occasion, the impact their decision will surely be amplified.
There are two ways to participate in the day of sbattezzo:
1.
Through clubs / contacts UAAR of Ancona, Bergamo, Genoa, Lecce, Modena, Pescara, Ravenna, Rimini, Siena, Trento, Venice, Verona, Vicenza, and also those of Bologna, Cagliari , Milan , Naples, Padua , Roma, Torino and Verbania , Treviso, who have published specific web pages devoted to the event. The procedures vary from province to province, it is essential to contact its managers.
2.
If you live in a province other than those listed above, or who resides in one of these provinces but wants sbattezzarsi individually, must download the form published on our website at www.uaar.it/laicita/sbattezzo/sbattezzo- module-to-parroco.rtf , compile it, make a photocopy of your ID card and send everything to the parish of baptism October 25 by registered mail (or in previous days, if that day can not). It should then send (much better if before 25 October) an e-mail to segretario@uaar.it confirming the project: segretario@uaar.it reply confirming that the applicant had counted on the list (so anonymous and confidential).
The same e-mail can be contacted on controversial cases. The figure of public
sbattezzandi is and will be formed, as well as those who sbattezzerà through clubs, only by those who have received or will receive the e-mail confirming the inclusion in the count. We do not want to present statistical processing improbable as those of the Catholic Church .

sbattezzo The day will be presented to the press and public Friday, Oct. 24, at 18, at the Libreria Bibli (via the bluegrass 28, Trastevere, Rome). On that occasion, will also premiere the book exit from the herd. Stories of conversions, baptisms, and apostasy sbattezzi , written by Raffaele Carcano (Secretary UAAR) and Adele Orioli (head of legal initiatives UAAR).

Atheism and secularism in mass communication.

image Sergio Staino .

few days ago, returned "aluminum paesellu" I have spoken with an acquaintance. The last time we spoke was two years ago, he was 16 and studying in the seminary, I was 20 and I was in my first year at university. Now he has "escaped" from the seminary and attended a course to become a medical technologist and me missing a few days to graduation.
meet again by chance, we talked about little things and then religion. I have mentioned in my dissertation on secularism (soon you will see from this blog) and he started to talk about it so disconcerting.
At one point I stopped and asked:

first give me a definition of who is secular.

He said just before:

the layman who does not believe is

and I pointed out that this is the atheist. He later said:

the secular and the believer is not very attached to his religion.

I pointed out that, quite simply, the layman (as a private individual) is the one that, in their dealings with others, do not be influenced by his religious beliefs or moral, separating the private from the social sphere. Then I told him to be "became" an atheist and he, after having watched a bit like an alien asked me

then you do not believe in anything

I told him that it is not true that a atheist does not believe in anything, simply does not give the beliefs (or ideal) characteristic of transcendence, which usually belong in the gods (single or multiple) of any religion. Not by chance, and I told him, I have ideals: they are for the legality, I am an environmentalist, healthy, monogamous convinced ...
And how if I have some ideals!
course, in Italy, it's such discussions will take place once every 10 minutes, especially since we talk about secularism, the term "secularism" (but used as a synonym for "anti-clericalism).
